Who knows at this point? Whatever happens, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will continue to intrigue as it gives us the answers we crave about Steve Rogers’ legacy. This might be what US Agent and the government are counting on a bust up between Sam and Bucky over the true Captain America’s legacy. However, Falcon might be okay with it since he willingly gave the shield up. Barnes may be against the idea of someone taking over as Captain America who isn’t Wilson. Sam and Bucky’s reactions would be very different given their own friendships with Steve. We haven’t seen much of Walker in promo material so we don’t know what he’s like personality-wise.

For now, the only one of the two heroes who is aware of US Agent is Wilson after his sister, Sarah, pulled him over to the television to where the new “Captain America” was debuted to the world. Sam and Bucky were always champions of Steve’s campaign to keep the world safe.
